MOPS is for Mothers of Preschoolers. Any woman who is pregnant or has children birth through Kindergarten is a MOPS Mom. MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy through Kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs. MOPS helps moms through relationships established in the context of local groups that provide a caring atmosphere for today’s mother of young children. Please come to our MOPS group and get rejuvenated and recharged in an atmosphere with other moms who are on this same journey of motherhood as you.

Welcome aboard! Are you enjoying the ride? Every mom can identify with the idea that Mothering is an adventure with many ups and downs. What part of the ride are you experiencing right now? Are you enjoying a steady climb? Are you at the top enjoying the view? Perhaps you are facing an unexpected turn, unsure what is around the next bend. Maybe you feel like you are heading downward fast and dealing with a situation that seems out of control. I have good news for you! God wants to sit next to us and hold our hand the whole way!

We are so glad you have decided to make MOPS a part of your adventure in mothering. Isn’t it great to know that other moms are riding this same roller coaster with us? And, others who have actually survived the preschool years already are cheering us on from the sidelines as our friends and mentors!

Ephesians 3:18 reminds us of “how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.” What does that mean? Think about the word “wide” for a moment. Are you feeling spread too thin or far away from family and friends? Do the days seem long and tiring? Whether things are going great (“high”) or you are in a downward spiral, God offers hope.

No matter where you are in your adventure, I hope you remember that you are not alone. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride!

MOPS at Rowland Springs Baptist Church starts in September and runs through May.

WHEN: 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month

WHERE: Rowland Springs Baptist Church

MEETING TIME: 9:00—11:00 am ( come about 10 min. early to get your child(ren) settled in the MOPPETS program)

FEES: Fees are subject to change, but here is an estimate of what they will be.

REGISTRATION FEE: $23.95

This is a per Mom, per year fee to MOPS International that includes your MomSense magazine subscription and other items. This fee needs to be paid upon registration.

MEETING FEES: There are two ways to pay—by meeting or by semester.

By meeting : $6.00 per meeting to be paid when you sign in.

By semester: (if you pay before 2nd meeting of the semester you will receive a discount)

Semester 1: $42 ($48 after 2nd meeting)
Semester 2: $48 ($54 after 2nd meeting)

These fees help cover the costs of crafts, MOPPETS workers, speaker fees, and other operating expenses.

If you need to make special arrangements regarding your fees, please contact the Finance Leader. A limited number of scholarships may be available. Please indicate interest on the registration form if you will need a scholarship.
